To all Mobile phone users
Pursuant to Rule 12(b) and the related Schedule, of the Licensing rule for Communications Networks and Services, CCK together with the Mobile Service Providers, now make it a mandatory requirement for all mobile sim card users to register the use of the sim card with effect from 01 Dec 2020.
All existing sim card users will need to register their sim card in person with the relevant mobile service provider starting from 01 Dec 2020.
The Mobile Service Provider will be forced to deregister or deactivate any sim card which are not registered within the 6 months period from 01 Dec 2020. So please register your sim card with your Mobile Service Provider to avoid deactivation.
This is applicable to all sim card users which include private individuals and corporate users.
